forecast.
* WHERE...Neches River at Neches River Saltwater Barrier.
* WHEN...Until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 8.0 feet, Widespread flooding, especially in
Northwest Orange County from Lake View downstream to the Saltwater
Barrier. Several homes and camps are flooded or threatend.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:15 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 7.7 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 8:15 PM CDT Wednesday was 7.7 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 8.5
feet early Saturday morning.
- Flood stage is 4.0 feet.

near the river. Low spots on Old Sour Lake Road are under water.

- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 7:45 PM CDT Wednesday was 26.1 feet.

Lumberton. Significant backwater flooding of homes and camp sites
along the creek in the north side of Lumberton.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:30 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 18.9 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 8:30 PM CDT Wednesday was 19.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 19.1
feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
flood stage early Saturday morning.
